One of the most important and well written essays of recent times! Well done good sir, this really got me thinking about how much harm modernity has done to my generation and how it has not only proven punishing and horrible for men but also for the women of our generation!

We men ought to take up the duties and dignity that a knight, a king, or even a priest might once have endeavoured towards, as implied here. Thanks so much for having written it!

Many thanks! I'm very gratified you found the piece meaningful, and by your kind words!

The Lion King is a very important film, and much wisdom is packed in it. I'm glad if I was able to highlight and expound on some of it!

It is indeed a very important filme, it’s one that my brother and I have analyzed once (namely the Head in the Sky scene) but from a different angle and not quite as well as you did.

I’m very much in love with this filme, it’s wisdom and think I was not generous enough for this excellent article. Do you mind if I share it in this week’s Fantasy Event? This way I can share it with more people and maybe get more people involved in it.

Anytime! I feel I still needed to ask, rather than just assuming good sir.

A tight, incisive analysis of the crown jewel of Disney animated films. Why? Because of it unabashed positive treatment of fatherhood.

Such a rich film, with incredible depth packed within the seams of an ostensible musical comedy for kids. To my knowledge the writers weren't conscious traditionalists, so I can only guess the end result was a product of divine inspiration.

What's remarkable is the precision of its prophetic quality! E.g. the way they present Simba as a quite literal bug-man... It's almost too perfect!
